Abstract

Resiliensi Ekonomi merupakan kemampuan suatu wilayah untuk mengurangi kerentanan, menahan guncangan, serta pulih dengan cepat dari guncangan ekonomi. Ketahanan mengacu pada kemampuan untuk bertahan hidup, mengatasi tantangan, dan berubah secara berkelanjutan, adil, serta demokratis. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menggambarkan ketahanan ekonomi dan menganalisis pengaruh ketahanan ekonomi terhadap kesejahteraan Pulau Sumatera. Penelitian ini menggunakan prosedur yang direkomendasikan oleh OECD untuk mengkonstruksi Indeks Resiliensi Ekonomi (ERI). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat variasi ketahanan yang signifikan antarprovinsi di Sumatera. Hasil analisis regresi dengan metode Regresi Data Panel menunjukkan bahwa ERI signifikan dan berpengaruh positif, sedangkan rasio gini dan kemiskinan signifikan dan berdampak negatif terhadap tingkat kesejahteraan di Pulau Sumatera. Sementara itu, investasi tidak memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap tingkat kesejahteraan di Pulau Sumatera.
